Alibaba Launches Exclusive Membership Package to Support SME’s Digitalization Efforts in Germany
Exciting news for sellers in Germany as ecommerce giant Alibaba has announced a game-changing exclusive membership package to support SME’s in their digitalization efforts. Starting in September, retailers can take advantage of a special trial period of 3 months for just $9, compared to the usual price of $399. This incredible offer was unveiled at a flagship event in Berlin, where Alibaba shared insights from a survey of 1,008 German SME’s. The survey revealed that while 88% of respondents believe digitalization is crucial for success, only 41% are fully digitalized. Furthermore, only 11% of the surveyed businesses have integrated AI into their operations.
New Solutions for Sellers
In response to these findings, Alibaba has introduced a range of new solutions specifically tailored for sellers in Germany. One of the key components is the revamped membership model, which now offers a 3-month trial period for just 8.40 euros (approximately $9), a significant reduction from the standard price of 372.61 euros (about $399).
Additionally, Alibaba is rolling out AI-powered tools such as AI-generated product listings, a chat bot, and automatic data analysis for category-specific insights. These tools aim to simplify decision-making processes for sellers and enhance communication with potential buyers.
