Exciting news from E-commerce Park of Sweden! The incubator based in Helsingborg is launching a new program focused on sustainability in ecommerce. This parallel program will complement their existing offerings and help companies with business models centered around sustainability.
E-commerce Park of Sweden has a strong track record of supporting Swedish businesses with their online strategies and securing ecommerce business funding. Over 100 businesses have benefitted from their program, with some even seeing a significant increase in turnover to more than 8.9 million euros (100 million Swedish Kronor).
‘Transition to sustainable ecommerce too slow’
According to Karsten Deppert, co-founder of E-commerce Park, the transition towards sustainable ecommerce is progressing too slowly. He believes there is a pressing need for increased investment to accelerate this shift. The incubator sees it as their responsibility to take action and drive change in the industry.
10 businesses will be accepted
The new program will accept a maximum of 10 businesses with sustainable business models, starting in September. Participants will receive valuable insights into ecommerce strategies, access to a network of like-minded entrepreneurs, and opportunities to connect with potential investors.
Combination of expertise
By combining their expertise in ecommerce development with a focus on sustainability, E-commerce Park aims to create a fertile ground for future business models. They are committed to supporting companies that prioritize responsible and sustainable practices in their operations.
‘The program is a catalyst for driving the future of commerce’
This program is more than just an opportunity for businesses – it’s a catalyst for shaping the future of commerce. Through collaboration with industry experts, participants will have the tools and resources needed to redefine the trading landscape.
