Visual Studio Code has become the go-to text editor for many JavaScript developers. With its speed, extensive features, and support for numerous plugins, it has revolutionized the way we write code. One of the standout features of VS Code is the autoSave functionality, which can significantly improve productivity.
To enable autoSave in VS Code, you can simply add the following configuration to your text editor:
{ "files.autoSave": "afterDelay", "files.autoSaveDelay": 200 }
With autoSave, you can eliminate the need for manual saving, making your workflow more efficient. This small tweak can make a big difference in your development process. A shoutout to Chris Nakazawa, my former MooTools colleague, for bringing this feature to light!
